Flip Steenbrink

Flip Steenbrink is an experienced interconnection engineer at EirGrid Group since February 2025, focusing on integrating the Single Electricity Market with the EU and preparing for the Celtic Interconnector's anticipated launch in 2026. Prior to this role, Steenbrink worked as a technical support consultant at Vattenfall, enhancing the ticketing platform for the Offshore Wind business unit. As a young professional at Jelmer, participation in a multidisciplinary traineeship aimed at developing future leaders in various sectors took place. Furthermore, Steenbrink served as a consultant and project manager in the energy and climate sector at APPM Management Consultants, managing projects for governmental organizations. Additional experience includes market expansion for Dott, project management for MOOCs at Delft University of Technology, roles at the Supervisory Board of Study Association Curius, inside sales for VIKTOR, and as a student chauffeur at D&B The Mobility Group. Steenbrink holds a Master's degree in Complex Systems Engineering and Management and a Bachelor's degree in Technische Bestuurskunde from Delft University of Technology.
