Gerke Visser

Gerke Visser is a seasoned professional in the offshore renewable energy sector with extensive experience in project management and engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Offshore Phase 1 at EirGrid Group since October 2023, Gerke previously led Offshore Solutions at ELIA GRID INTERNATIONAL from May 2015 to October 2023. Prior to that, Gerke held various management roles at Van Oord from July 1998 to May 2015, overseeing offshore wind projects, construction projects, and geotechnical engineering. Gerke holds a degree in Mining and Petroleum Engineering with a focus on Engineering Geology from Delft University of Technology and a Master’s degree in Financial Management from the University of London.
