Shane Duane

Shane Duane is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy and aviation sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Lead Analyst at EirGrid Group since September 2022, Shane leads market readiness for cross-border capacity calculations on the 700 MW HVDC Celtic interconnector and supports operations for the 500 MW East-West Interconnector. Previously, Shane held various positions at Avolon from July 2016 to June 2020, culminating as Vice President of New Aircraft Pricing, managing a team of analysts and overseeing high-value transactions. Shane's career also includes experience at Carlyle Aviation Partners as an Associate Financial Analyst and as a PhD student at Trinity College Dublin, complemented by multiple degrees and certifications in engineering, physics, and finance.
