Sheila Nolan

Sheila Nolan is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Energy Research Manager at EirGrid Group since May 2017, having previously held roles as Senior Lead Engineer and Senior Engineer. Prior experience includes a position as Modelling Analyst at ESB, and a PhD student at University College Dublin where Sheila focused on engineering from October 2012 to September 2016. Additional roles include Research Assistant at University College Dublin and participation in various research projects at ESB Networks and Energy Needs Ireland. Sheila holds a PhD in Engineering from University College Dublin, an MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems from The University of Edinburgh, and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin. Sheila also possesses a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Institute of Project Management.
