Stephen Gannon currently serves as the Interim Head of Future Power Markets and Market Readiness Manager at EirGrid Group since October 2023. Previously, at ElecLink from May 2017 to October 2023, Gannon held the position of Commercial Manager, where responsibilities included developing commercial arrangements and regulatory frameworks for the ElecLink 1000MW HVDC electricity interconnector. Gannon's career began at Prime Fund Solutions in early 2010 as a Middle Office Administrator. Gannon's education includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Energy from Trinity College Dublin and a Master's degree in Civic Design from the University of Liverpool, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Geography from University College Dublin.
