Steven Murray

Steven Murray is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Lead Engineer for Current Network at EirGrid Group since June 2013. Prior roles at EirGrid included Network Planning Engineer, focusing on transmission station refurbishment, line investment selection, and system upgrade studies. Previous experience includes working as a Power Systems Engineer at EirGrid, where Steven contributed to technology guides, standards and policy development, and strategic planning for the Dublin area, as well as a System Development & Connections Engineer at National Grid, where management of new connection applications was a key responsibility. Steven's educational background includes an MSc in Electrical Power Engineering with Business and a BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.
