Susan Whyte

Susan Whyte is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in strategic change delivery and customer operations. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Change Delivery at EirGrid Group since May 2025, Susan previously held the position of Director of Customer Operations at Bord Gáis Energy, where responsibilities included overseeing customer experience and driving transformational change initiatives. Prior roles at Electric Ireland included Strategic Program Director for Smart Metering and Smarter Home Commercialisation Manager. Susan's career also includes significant positions in policy management, billing management, and communications, beginning with roles at ESB Independent Energy and earlier experience in advertising and public relations. Susan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin and has completed a Leadership Development program for Women at Dublin City University.
