Jane Thompson

Jane Thompson is an experienced professional in patent information science, currently serving as Associate Director at Eisai Inc. since July 2007. Prior to this role, Jane held positions at Pfizer as Manager of the Global Legal Information Science Team from December 2003 to July 2007, and at Vertex Pharmaceuticals as Lead Information Specialist from September 2001 to July 2003. Jane's career in the field began at The Dow Chemical Co. as a Patent Information Specialist, where work occurred from March 1990 to September 2001. Jane Thompson holds a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Toronto, completed in 1990, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemistry and Business from Acadia University, earned in 1986.
