Mami Sugimura

Mami Sugimura is an experienced professional with a diverse background in coaching and executive assistance. Currently serving as an English Communication Coach at Genki Coaching since April 2017, Mami focuses on enhancing English communication skills for non-native global leaders, particularly Japanese expats and immigrant entrepreneurs in R&D industries. Concurrently, Mami holds a position as a Senior Executive Assistant at Eisai Inc., where responsibilities include managing multiple C-suite executives' schedules, handling confidential communications, and organizing international travel. As the Founder and President of HEIAN, a 501c3 nonprofit promoting wellness among Japanese elderly residents in the NY/NJ metropolitan area, Mami demonstrates a commitment to community service. Mami’s educational achievements include a Master of Professional Studies in Psychology of Leadership from Penn State University and a Bachelor's degree in English from Kyoto University of Foreign Studies.
