Yan Zhang is an experienced leader in clinical biomarker and translational science, currently serving as the Head of Clinical Biomarker at Eisai US since November 2021. In this role, Yan Zhang leads the Clinical Biomarker group, focusing on designing and executing biomarker strategies for clinical trials. Prior to this position, Yan Zhang held multiple senior roles at Bristol Myers Squibb from January 2006 to November 2021, including Scientific Senior Director and Director, where responsibilities included driving technology strategies, leading laboratory teams in immunoassay and LC-MS, and managing cross-functional collaborations. Earlier in the career, Yan Zhang worked at GlaxoSmithKline as a Principal Scientist, integrating biomarkers into drug development and developing automation processes for assay testing. Yan Zhang holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from New York Medicine Jobs and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Molecular Biology and Protein Biochemistry at the University of Pennsylvania.
