Markus Lechner

Markus Lechner's work experience begins in 2013 with an internship at Roche Diagnostics. From there, they went on to work as a Master Thesis student at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center in 2014. In 2015, they served as a trainee at IMBA - Institute of Molecular Biotechnology in Vienna and then joined HelmholtzZentrum München as a PhD student. In 2020, they joined Roche as a Scientist and worked there until 2022. Currently, Markus holds the position of Principal Scientist at Eisbach Bio GmbH, starting in April 2022.

Markus Lechner completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Konstanz from 2009 to 2012. Markus then continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences from 2012 to 2015. Markus Lechner further pursued higher education at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Doctorate of Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat.) in Medicine.
