Michael S. Sherman is currently a Partner in the Entertainment Group at Eisner LLP, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, they served as a Partner at Reed Smith LLP from 2010 to 2025 and as Chair of the Entertainment, Media and Advertising Industries Group at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Marmaro LLP from 1987 to 2010. Additionally, they were the Chair of the Entertainment Practice at Greenberg Glusker from 1972 to 1987. Michael obtained a J.D. in Banking Corporate Finance and Securities Law, as well as Intellectual Property Law, from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, where they studied from 1967 to 1970.
