Joel McDowell

Joel McDowell is currently a Partner in the Real Estate Services Group at EisnerAmper and has been with the firm since 2024. They previously served as the Office Managing Partner in Birmingham for Tidwell Group, where they were a Tax Partner from 2010 to 2024. Earlier in their career, Joel held various roles at firms including Arthur Andersen, where they were a Tax Manager, and Draffin & Tucker, where they worked as both a CPA and Manager. Joel also served as CFO for Golden Pantry Food Stores from 1993 to 1996 and was a Principal at Reznick Group from 2008 to 2009. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business from 1983 to 1985.
