Yan Zhang

Yan Zhang is a Partner and Chief Accountant at EisnerAmper LLP since 2008, leading the Assurance National Office in supporting the firm's assurance practice and enhancing audit quality. Yan also serves on the AICPA Financial Reporting Executive Committee (FinREC) since May 2023, focusing on improving financial reporting standards, and the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council (FASAC) since January 2023, advising the FASB on financial reporting integrity. Previously, Yan was a member of the Private Company Council, providing guidance to the FASB regarding private company accounting, and has held roles at the AICPA's Technical Issues Committee and at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen. Yan holds an M.B.A. in Accounting and a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston.
