Leire Torre Martínez

Leire Torre Martínez is an experienced journalist and news correspondent with a comprehensive background in audiovisual communication. Currently serving as a news correspondent at EITB since February 2016, Leire is responsible for live news connections and the production of content involving analysts and journalists. Previous roles include working as a journalist and editor for 5W Agencia TV, where Leire contributed to various Mediaset España news programs, as well as reporting for EITB’s magazine show. Leire also directed and presented the youth-focused program DJOVEN at Teledonosti, alongside previous multimedia journalism roles at Diariovasco.com. Leire's extensive experience encompasses training in sound technical work, video editing, and news writing across multiple media platforms, supported by a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Navarra.
