Andy Smith

Andy Smith has a strong background in corporate law and leadership positions. Andy currently serves as the Vice President & General Counsel at EJ since October 2022. Prior to that, they were the Secretary of the Board of Managers at Detroit Thermal Systems, LLC from October 2012 to September 2022. Andy also held various roles at Valeo, including Vice President & General Counsel, North & South America from January 2008 to September 2022, and Director, External Affairs from March 2011 to August 2014. Before joining Valeo, Andy worked as an Associate at Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP from July 2006 to January 2008, and at Davis Polk & Wardwell from September 2005 to June 2006. Andy started their career as an Analyst at GMAC's Latin American Treasury Center from January 2000 to August 2001.

Andy Smith holds a JD degree from Columbia Law School, an MIA degree in International Affairs from Columbia | SIPA, an MBA degree in International Management from EU Business School, and a BA degree in History from the University of Michigan. Andy also obtained a High School Diploma from the University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy. Andy Smith is also certified by the State Bar of Michigan and the New York State Unified Court System, being admitted to both the Michigan and New York Bar in 2007 and 2006, respectively.
