Manager Product & Innovation at Ekco

Ben Meints has extensive work experience in the field of IT and product management. Ben is currently working as a Product Director at Ekco since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at ITON for several years in various roles including Manager of Product Management, Manager of Product Management & Marketing, and Business Consultant.

Before joining ITON, Ben worked at Lectoraat AMI as a System Administrator, where they were responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining the IT infrastructure. Ben also managed and lent the equipment during their time there.

Ben also worked at Saxion Hogescholen as a System Administrator, where they provided IT support to students and teachers. In addition, they were involved in the design, installation, and maintenance of a network at the Deventer location.

Earlier in their career, Ben worked at ROC van Twente as a System Administrator, where they built the IT infrastructure for the ICT College from scratch. Ben also provided support to system administrators.

During their early career, Ben worked at ITON as part of the Service Desk, primarily supporting users and system administrators and remotely managing IT infrastructures.

Overall, Ben Meints has a diverse background in IT and product management, with experience in system administration, infrastructure management, and IT support.

Ben Meints completed a Master's degree in Management & ICT from Pro Education Amsterdam in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a post-bachelor degree in Enterprise Architectuur from Pro Education Amsterdam in 2011. Ben also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology: IT Management and Administration from Saxion University of Applied Sciences, which they completed from 2005 to 2008. In addition, they completed a diploma in ICT Beheer, Netwerkbeheer, Applicatiebeheer, Applicatieontwikkelaar from ROC van Twente: ICT College from 2002 to 2005. Ben Meints also has various additional certifications in fields such as virtualization solutions, Citrix systems, and Microsoft systems.
