Eoin O Brien

Eoin O Brien has extensive experience in the IT industry. Eoin is currently the Director of Technical Operations at Ekco, a position they assumed in October 2021. Prior to this role, Eoin worked at Atos as a Tower Manager in Networking and Datacenter Services from June 2020 to October 2021. Eoin also served as an Information Technology Service Delivery Manager from September 2018 to June 2020 and as an Infrastructure Management Principal from January 2017 to September 2018.

Before joining Atos, Eoin worked at Xerox Services as an Infrastructure Management Principal from October 2012 to December 2016. Eoin also had a significant role at Citrix Systems as a Senior Engineer for Application, Desktop & Server Virtualisation Support from October 2010 to October 2012. Eoin began their career at Holywell IT as an IT Trainer in April 2010 and then moved on to Advance Systems Ireland as a Senior Engineer from September 2003 to April 2010. Prior to that, they worked at the National College of Ireland as a Network Support Technician from July 2002 to August 2003 and at Wicklow Computer Services as a Junior IT Support from June 2001 to July 2002.

Throughout their career, Eoin has gained experience in various IT roles, including managing technical operations, network support, application support, infrastructure management, and project management. Eoin has expertise in virtualization technologies, network configuration, and resolving complex technical issues.

Eoin O Brien completed a Higher Diploma in Business with a focus on Business Management from the Institute of Technology, Carlow in 2018-2019. Prior to that, Eoin attended the National College of Ireland from 2000-2002, where they studied Computing in Applications and Support. Eoin also holds various certifications related to IT and security, including certifications from Microsoft, AXELOS Global Best Practice, Citrix, and CompTIA.
