Charles Momoh

Charles Momoh is the founder of West Power & Gas Limited (WPG) as well as the former Chairman of Eko Electricity Distribution Plc, a subsidiary for WPG. Formerly the Managing Director of Atlantic Meridean, an indigenous company, providing engineering, procurement, administration, security and support services to the Nigerian petroleum industry, Mr. Momoh is knowledgeable in international contracts and negotiations and is a seasoned oil & gas administrator. He is able to evaluate projects with complex economic models and has worldwide operational experience, having been involved with Ashland Oil in both Europe and the USA. With over 25 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry in both upstream and downstream sectors, Mr. Momoh, had the foresight to see the opportunity presented by Nigeria's power sector and through his efforts, WPG has put together a world-class Board of Directors and Management Team that is ready to light up Nigeria.
