Robert Becker

Robert Becker has a diverse range of work experience in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Robert began their career as a Research Assistant at Humboldt State University, where they worked on the EPA Watershed Modeling Project. At Psomas, they served as a Geographic Information Systems Technician, providing technical support and analysis to clients, as well as creating and maintaining GIS databases. Robert then joined ICEYE as a Customer Operations & Satellite Planning Specialist, acting as the main point of contact for United States government agencies and ensuring client satisfaction. Robert also contributed to the creation and implementation of US processes. At GHD, they worked as a Location Intelligence Project Manager, playing a key role in GIS-related proposal development and leading strategically significant projects. Currently, Robert is working at EKN Engineering as a Project Manager, overseeing complex GIS projects and generating innovative solutions for clients. Additionally, they have experience as a GIS tutor at Wyzant, assisting students with various GIS topics. Through their work experience, Robert has demonstrated their expertise in GIS, project management, client satisfaction, and leadership.

Robert Becker completed their Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Management with a concentration in Geospatial Science from Humboldt State University, where they studied from 2017 to 2019. In addition to their degree, Becker obtained a certification as an ArcGIS Desktop Associate 19-001 from Esri in April 2022.
