Angelo Baskaran

Angelo Baskaran has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Angelo began their career in 1980 as an Audit Senior at Grant Thornton, a network of accounting and consulting firms. From 1990 to 1995, they worked as a Controller at MBF Asia Capital Corporation, a financial services company. In 1996, they joined The Chart Group as a Vice President, where they performed due diligence on potential investors and screened hedge fund managers for recruitment. From 1999 to 2005, Angelo worked as the Director of Corporate Finance at London Court Limited, advising midsize UK companies on merger and acquisition deals and financial transactions.

In 2006, Angelo joined Meridian Petroleum PLC, now President Energy PLC, as the Vice President and Treasurer (USA) and later served as the Chief Financial Officer (UK, USA, & Australia). In this role, they led a team of 22 across three continents, overseeing all global operations and managing a $55M annual operating budget. Angelo also implemented an ERP system and multicurrency reporting to ensure compliance with Stock Exchange requirements.

From 2013 to 2016, Angelo served as the CFO of 3D BIOSURFACES TECHNOLOGIES, LLC, overseeing financial planning, business development, and contract manufacturing changes. Angelo successfully raised capital to launch manufacturing operations and expand resources, while also implementing a global ERP/CRM system for international transactions.

In 2015, Angelo joined eKuber Ventures Inc. as the Director of Finance and Development, and currently, they hold the role of Co CIO at the private office global macro hedge fund Anoi Fund since 2018.

Angelo Baskaran completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington DC from 1984 to 1986. Prior to that, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General at Bayes Business School, University of London, from 1982 to 1984. In the same year, they also achieved the FCA qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, specializing in Accounting. Although it is not specified when they started or completed, Angelo Baskaran pursued another MBA degree in Finance, General at the University of London.
