Elan is a family business founded in 1985 by Mr. Heinz Langsam (1925 - 2013) from a need to supply the national market with electric motors and pumps of Italian origin. 
Over the years (1996) the country was changing, the needs also and that's when the company stops importing the pumps and specializes in the area of electric motors incorporating a new brand. Along with this, a new product line is incorporated, the capacitors, where two brands and three types are worked: permanent, starting and power factor. In the year 2011 Elan incorporates a new brand of starting capacitors and begins to work the lines of construction machinery with the vibrating probes and motor units. In 2014 we incorporated gearboxes, motor protectors, capacitors in three new brands. Elan is an entrepreneurial company and with a view to the future, we will always be innovating and looking for the best products in the world to meet the needs of our customers.
