Mark Lyons, Ph.D., is an innovative leader in assay development and validation with over 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Analytical Development at Elanco, Mark systematically oversees the development and implementation of analytical strategies for vaccine programs. Previously, Mark held roles at Vigilant Consulting LLC and Takeda, where they led cross-functional teams in the development of potent assays and compliance with regulatory standards. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Microbiology from Michigan State University and a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences: Immunology from Texas A&M University.
