Barry Griffith

Barry Griffith has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Barry started their career in 1999 as a PC & Network Support Engineer at Mitsubishi Electric Europe BV, where they provided technical support to over 300 employees. Barry then joined Business & Decision in 2002 as a Senior Consultant, working on projects in various industries such as Telecoms, Banking, Medical, Retail, and Utilities. Barry later took on a strategic role within the Management Consulting area of the company, collaborating with senior staff in major financial institutions.

In 2008, Barry transitioned to dunnhumby as a Data Manager, responsible for the operations, maintenance, and enhancement of a major international client's data solution. Barry successfully delivered solutions to 14 different markets and managed a team of data specialists. Additionally, they directly managed CRM campaigns and targeted mailings to meet key deliverables.

From 2011 to 2022, Barry worked as an Independent Consultant, providing consultancy services for various contract roles. One notable accomplishment during this period was their sole responsibility for the development and submission of global bank data to Global Credit Data, an agency supported by a worldwide consortium of banks and recognized by regulators. Barry analyzed requirements, mapped internal data availability, and developed project plans and data strategies to ensure successful delivery.

Barry's most recent role is as a Business Analyst at Elastacloud, which they started in 2022.

Barry Griffith pursued their undergraduate education from 1998 to 2002 at the University of Hertfordshire. During this time, they obtained a bachelor's degree with honors (BSc) in Computer Science. In April 2016, Barry also earned a certification as a SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 from SAS.
