Brian Koontz

Brian Koontz began their work experience in 2007 as a Project Manager at Strata Worldwide LLC. Brian then worked as a Face Boss (Section Foreman) at Murray Energy Corporation, American Coal from 2009 to 2010. Following that, they returned to Strata Worldwide LLC as a Project Manager from 2007 to 2009. In 2014, they transitioned to Strata Products Worldwide LLC, where they worked as a Technical Sales & Consulting until 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they served as a Warehouse Manager at All Phase Custom Mill Shop. Currently, they are working at Elastec as an Assembly Technician, starting in May 2019, and later transitioning to an Industrial Sales Representative in December 2021.

Brian Koontz began their education at Carmi Comm. High School from 1980 to 1984. Brian then pursued an Associate's degree in Applied Science in Coal Mining Technology from Southeastern Illinois College, which they completed from 1984 to 1986. In 2014, they attended WC Training and Consulting to become a Msha Certified Instructor, completing their studies in 2017.
