David MacBride is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure management. Currently serving as the Director of DevOps Engineering at Elastic Path since September 2018, David leads a team that ensures the success of Self-Managed Commerce customers, while also overseeing the Customer Support team and collaborating with operations on a single-tenant hosted solution. David's previous roles at Elastic Path included directing product management for SaaS infrastructure, where responsibilities encompassed the technical roadmap and implementation of cloud-based solutions. Prior to Elastic Path, David held key positions at BlueSky Commerce, focusing on infrastructure design and eCommerce consultancy, as well as at IBM Canada, where contributions included developing deployment strategies for WebSphere Commerce. David holds a Bachelor of Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of New Brunswick.
