Bill Wright

Bill Wright is currently the Head of Global Government Affairs at Elastic, where they lead advocacy efforts for public policy aligned with the company’s mission. Prior to this role, Bill served as Senior Director of North American Government Affairs at Splunk and held the position of Director, Government Affairs & Senior Cybersecurity Policy Counsel at Symantec. Bill's background also includes significant roles such as Staff Director for the Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs Committee in the U.S. Senate and Special Assistant to the Coordinator for Counterterrorism at the U.S. Department of State. They began their career as a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives and earned their law degree from DePaul University College of Law.
