David Chao is a General Manager at Elastic, leading a cross-functional organization with P&L responsibility for Product-led Growth and Sales businesses. Previously, they held the position of VP of Product Marketing at Salesforce and played a significant role in the IPO of MuleSoft, which was later acquired by Salesforce. David has also served as Chief Marketing Officer at Alation, where they led global Marketing efforts. They have experience as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company and have taught courses at the Wharton School.
