Eric Prengel currently serves as Global Vice President of Finance and Interim CFO at Elastic since January 2023. Prior to this role, Eric spent nearly nine years at J.P. Morgan, where positions included Head of West Coast Technology Investment Banking and Managing Director within Technology Investment Banking. Eric's earlier experience includes roles at Deutsche Bank Securities in Mergers and Acquisitions, as well as positions at Thomas Weisel Partners and Stern Stewart & Co. Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, obtained between 1999 and 2003, and attended Hunter College High School from 1993 to 1999.
