Evan Goetzman

Evan Goetzman is an accomplished Enterprise Application Architect at Elastic since October 2018, leading the global architecture of financial applications. Prior roles include Lead Engineer, where significant engineering projects were spearheaded, and Senior Engineer, contributing to pivotal initiatives like SOX audit readiness and successful audit outcomes post-2018 IPO. Previously, at Wipfli LLP, Evan served as Senior Manager in the Consulting Practice, overseeing teams of CPAs, consultants, and engineers in financial systems and ERP consulting. Co-founding Barefoot Technologies and Consulting, Evan managed engineering operations and encouraged technical excellence for diverse clients. A strong foundation in application engineering was established at SPS Commerce through various roles. Evan holds a B.A. in Physics with a focus on Astrophysics from the University of Minnesota and an MSc in Acoustic Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
