Gerald Derrick

Gerald Derrick is an IT and cybersecurity leader with extensive experience at the intersection of engineering and executive strategy. They served as Chief Information Security Officer at DigiFlight, where they built a mature enterprise security program resulting in zero security incidents. Gerald has also held roles as Vice President of Cybersecurity Engineering and Senior Technical Manager for General Dynamics, where they led innovative projects and teams that significantly advanced data processing capabilities. Currently, they work as a Senior Solutions Architect at Elastic and as a Board Member at VerdiSec Solutions, advising on IT and cybersecurity strategies for small and mid-sized organizations. Gerald holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
