Jack Conradson

Jack Conradson is a Senior Software Engineer at Elastic.co since April 2015, where Jack serves as the primary developer of "Painless," a secure and efficient scripting language developed using ANTLR and Java ASM. Prior to this, Jack worked as a Software Engineer at A9.com from February 2012 to April 2015, contributing to the creation of the Lucene expressions language, various search query parsers, and infrastructure for AWS CloudSearch. Jack's career began at Sportvision, where from May 2006 to February 2012, contributions included designing new broadcast effects and collecting data for NASCAR and MLB. Jack holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, earned in 2006.
