John Grierson

John Grierson is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience in strategic HR leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at Elastic since April 2021, John partners with various groups to enhance people strategy, culture, diversity, and employee engagement. Previously, John held the title of Director of Human Resources at McAfee from April 2017 to October 2020, collaborating with senior executives to drive talent assessment and organizational development initiatives. Prior roles include Director of Human Resources at Dell EMC, where John focused on developing people strategies and engaging employees, as well as serving in various HR management roles since 1996. John holds a Master’s degree in Adult Education, HR and Organization Development from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Mississippi State University.
