Joseph McElroy is a seasoned Principal Engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently, Joseph serves as a Principal Engineer I at Elastic since January 2022. Previously, Joseph held the position of Principal Engineer at YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP from June 2017 to December 2021. Joseph has also worked as a consultant for PROVEN Skincare and as a founding software engineer at Nift.io, along with various roles that include Javascript consultant positions and contract frontend engineer work at Opentable. Joseph's earlier career includes co-founding Pinpoint and holding the role of Technical Product Manager at VYRE, where Joseph led a team and contributed to multiple web-based products.
