Mika Ayenson

Mika Ayenson, Ph.D., currently serves as the Threat Research & Detection Engineering Team Lead at Elastic, where they previously held the position of Detection Enablement and Development Area Lead. Before rejoining Elastic, Mika worked as a Cyber Security Researcher at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from 2014 to 2022. They also gained experience in web privacy research at the University of California, Berkeley, and contributed to security research at Raytheon Intelligence & Space and SZTAKI. Mika holds a Ph.D. from Northcentral University, a Master's degree from The University of Tulsa, and a Bachelor's degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
