Petr Klapka

Petr Klapka is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and team leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Team Lead at Elastic since February 2021, Petr leads a team focused on the Kibana interface for Elasticsearch. Prior to this role, Petr held key positions at Rapid Micro Biosystems as Software Engineering Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer, and at Valeo as Radar Tools Software Team Manager and Senior Software Engineer, where responsibilities included managing diverse teams across multiple international locations. Earlier experience includes roles at ARC Technology Solutions as Principal Software Architect and Director of Engineering, and various engineering positions at Filtronic, Lockheed Martin, and Instrumentation Engineering. Petr's educational background includes a BS in Management & Information Technology from Daniel Webster College and an AS in Applied Electronics from the Community College of the Air Force.
