Samer Faour

Samer Faour is a seasoned professional in the field of technology and security, currently serving as a Principal Solutions Architect at Elastic since November 2025. With a strong background in leadership, Samer has held the position of Managing Director at Open Security Consulting Inc. since March 2017. Previously, Samer contributed to Exabeam as a Solutions Architect Team Lead, Solutions Architect, and Senior Sales Engineer from May 2019 to October 2025. Additional experience includes advisory roles at the National Bank of Canada, CIBC, and PwC Canada during 2018 and early 2019, as well as project management positions at Coast Capital Savings and the Independent Electricity System Operator. Samer holds a Master of Engineering in Integrated Security Technologies and Policies from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the American University of Beirut.
