Najaf Husain

Najaf Husain has a diverse range of work experience spanning several companies and roles. Najaf is the Founder and CEO of Elastio Software since August 2020. Prior to that, they were the Founder and CEO of Cloudistics, Inc from September 2013 until the company was acquired by Fungible in August 2020. Before Cloudistics, they served as the GM of Data Protection at Dell AppAssure from March 2012 to March 2013. Prior to that, they were the Founder and CEO of AppAssure Software from March 2006 to February 2012, until the company was acquired by Dell. Before AppAssure, they worked as an Entrepreneur and Investor at Bain Capital from November 2004 to March 2006. Najaf also held the role of VP of Windows Strategy at Veritas from June 2003 to September 2004. Najaf served as the GM and President of the Precise Software, SRM Division from September 2001 to June 2003, until the division was acquired by Veritas. Earlier in their career, they were the Founder and CEO of WQuinn from November 1992 to September 2001, until the company was acquired by Precise Software Solutions. Additionally, they gained experience as a Software Engineer, Systems Analyst, and Sales Support at Lockheed, GTE SpaceNet, and Xyplex from January 1985 to October 1992.

Najaf Husain completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Maryland from 1980 to 1984.
