Valentin Hervieu

Valentin Hervieu has over 10 years of work experience in software engineering and web development. In 2010, they worked as a Contract Staff for the Office of Road Users at the Préfecture du Calvados. In 2011, they were a Student Intern for Software Development at Frontware International, where they developed applications for Android mobile devices using Java and CSS3/JQuery. In 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Siemens Corporation, where they developed mobile applications (native and web) using Android and CSS3/jQuery. In 2013, they worked as a Software Engineer for an Android application and Symfony2 backend at the Université Services Etudes & Conseils - USEC. In 2014, they were a Full Stack Web Developer at Milanamos, where they designed and developed interactive data-powered visualisations using AngularJS, D3 and Leaflet. Valentin also worked as a Senior Frontend Engineer, Principal Frontend Engineer, and Frontend Engineer at ricardo.ch from 2017-2021. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at elba.

Valentin Hervieu obtained a Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie in Computer Science from IUT de Caen Campus d’Ifs in 2009-2011. Valentin then went on to obtain a Diplôme d’ingénieur UTC (Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering) from Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) in 2011-2014. In December 2014, Valentin earned a certification in M102: MongoDB for DBAs.
