Leonid Trainer

Leonid Trainer is an experienced software development manager with a strong background in leading teams and managing projects. At Elbit Systems Ltd since October 2013, Leonid holds the position of Software R&D Manager, overseeing approximately 30 developers across four teams focused on applications and middleware in areas such as Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Optimizations, GPGPU, and AI. Prior roles include Software Team Lead at Elbit Systems and Ofek 324 Unit - IAF, where Leonid managed team dynamics and full software life-cycle processes. Leonid's technical expertise includes real-time and embedded systems development, alongside a solid educational foundation with a Master's in Business Administration and a Master's in Computer Science from prestigious institutions in Israel.
