Ofer Nesher is the Chairman of the HySP consortium at Elbit Systems Ltd, where they have also served as Director of Electro-Optics from 2010 to 2015. Prior to this, Ofer was the VP of R&D at Sirica from 2009 to 2010, focusing on IR detector development for the civil market. They spent a decade at SCD Semiconductor Devices as an R&D program and group manager, contributing to IR detector development. Ofer began their career as a physicist at CI-Systems from 1993 to 1995 and earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 1995 and 1999.
