Ernie Basic

Ernie Basic has a robust background in engineering and program management, with significant experience in the aerospace and healthcare sectors. They began their career as an engineer at Baxter Healthcare, where they tested medical device prototypes, and progressed to various roles at Boeing, culminating in the position of Executive Director responsible for a $6B portfolio. Currently, Basic serves as Senior Director of Research & Development at Elbit Systems of America, leading a portfolio of R&D programs. They hold an MBA in Management from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as a Master’s in Systems Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.
