Rick Plumer

Rick Plumer is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in security engineering and penetration testing, currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer at Elbit Systems of America since September 2019. In this role, Rick conducts internal and external penetration testing and has developed the company's Rogue Device Detection policy. Previously, Rick held several positions at Elbit Systems including Senior Cyber Security Engineer, where leadership on DoD programs involved managing embedded cockpit devices, and Cyber Security Engineer II, focusing on embedded security for major programs. Earlier roles included Computer Engineer at Baja Systems, Senior Computer Programmer at BENCO Commercial Roofing, and Computer Programmer at Landmark Structures. Rick holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
