Johan Tallgren is a Senior R&D Engineer at Elcogen since June 2025, previously serving as Technology Manager for Renewable Hydrogen and Power-to-X at Neste, where responsibilities included driving renewable hydrogen technology scouting and evaluation. Prior to that, Johan worked at VTT from June 2011 to October 2022, holding positions from Senior Researcher to Senior Scientist in the fuel cells and hydrogen team, leading various customer and international projects, including the EU-funded Horizon2020 project EMPOWER. Johan holds a Doctor of Science (Tech) and a Master of Science (MS) in Engineering Physics from Aalto University, along with exchange studies at the Technical University of Munich.
