Sara Paydar is a Principal R&D Scientist at Elcogen, specializing in advanced ceramics and electrochemistry, particularly in Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs) and energy storage systems. With over 13 years of experience, they have focused on designing, synthesizing, and optimizing composite materials, including next-generation electrodes and electrolytes. Sara's research includes enhancing the efficiency and stability of SOFCs and Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cells (SOECs) and exploring sustainable syngas production through the co-electrolysis of H₂O and CO₂. They have held postdoctoral roles at institutions such as the University of Tartu and China University of Geosciences, and previously taught materials engineering courses at Islamic Azad University. Sara earned their Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering from Shiraz University.
