David Barnes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technical management and sales. Currently serving as the Group Technical Manager at Elcometer since January 2011, David previously held positions as a European technical sales representative at Standex International from 2005 to 2010, and as a capital sales representative at Sandusky Walmsley/Beloit from 1998 to 2005. Prior roles include working as a MillPro Engineer at Beloit from 1998 to 2000 and serving as a Regional Sales Manager at Heimbach UK Ltd from 1987 to 1998. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Manchester, obtained between 1980 and 1984, and attended William Hulme's Grammar School from 1973 to 1980.
