Kevin Fleming

Kevin Fleming has over 10 years of work experience in the finance and operations sectors. Kevin began their career in 2005 as Financial Controller at Bibendum Wine Ltd, where they were responsible for a 12-person finance function, and reported directly to the FD and then CEO. During their time there, they generated multi-million-pound cost savings and working capital improvements and created a structured MIS department.

In 2006, Kevin moved to Interactive Gaming Holdings plc as Group Head of Finance, where they were hired at a point of rapid and significant growth through acquisition and consolidation of gaming entities in the UK, Malta, and Caribbean. Kevin reported to the CEO and had accountability for Finance, HR, IT, and investor relations. Kevin slashed overheads by 25% by combining the UK base with an overseas subsidiary.

In 2007, Kevin became Finance Director at ArgentVive plc, where they were responsible for all Group financial, regulatory, investor relations, and HR matters. Kevin was a FD and Board Member across seven portfolio companies and had a firm focus on maximising performance of each business and the wider portfolio. Kevin also directed the completion and integration of three core acquisitions, leading all aspects of due diligence, and established incubation companies for internal business start-ups, share consolidation, and corporate rebranding.

In 2009, Kevin started their own business, businessOxygen Consulting, providing financial and operational consulting services to businesses seeking to launch, grow, and seek additional funding. Kevin also took on an interim finance role at Verint, where they were responsible for driving the UK statutory accounts production and filing process internally and externally.

In 2010, Kevin became Chief Financial Officer at Simply Business, where they were part of a new management team and a key contributor to the company's growth to the largest provider of business insurance to UK micro-SMEs. Kevin was a critical member of the four-person executive management team and was fully accountable for all Group finance matters.

In 2015, Kevin took on a Finance Transformation Consultant role at Element Materials Technology, where they identified multi-million-pound potential cost savings and substantial performance improvements through major transformation of finance and operational systems infrastructure and processes. Kevin also acted as Finance Lead on a large-scale ERP project to align system capabilities with standardised processes.

In the same year, Kevin began working at FinTech Finance Consulting as a Consultant, providing financial and operational consulting services to businesses and investors in the Tech/Fintech sectors.

In 2018, Kevin became Chairman of iprism Underwriting Agency Limited and also took on the role of Interim Chief Financial Officer. Kevin was contracted to work with the business and PE shareholder to devise and implement a medium term business plan and ensure appropriate framework for delivery.

Finally, in 2019, Kevin became Chief Financial Officer of Elder HQ, where they were focussed on disrupting the elderly care model through leveraging technology, delivering high quality in-home care, and providing peace of mind for loved ones.

Kevin Fleming attended Institute of Technology, Sligo from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained their ACA in Accounting. Kevin also attended Summerhil from 1982 to 1988. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Grow Movement in 2015 and FCA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
