Frontend Engineer at Elder

Victor Masson has a varied work experience, beginning as an Assistant Electrician at the Régie Municipale d'Électricité in 2010. In 2011, they worked as an Event Manager for the Association Critérium 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at Once Upon A Time Music as a Label and Artists Assistant, managing the company's website and social media channels, project-managing three record releases and assisting with the management of three musical acts. In 2014, they moved to NVS Music Group and was promoted from Marketing Assistant to Digital Coordinator in 2015 and Digital Manager in 2016. In this role, they managed year-long digital campaigns, leading to the sell-out of 20,000+ capacity festivals and 3,000+ capacity London events. In 2019, they joined the Ellen MacArthur Foundation as a Web Developer, building the current website from scratch as part of a small agile team, launching publicly in August 2021. Victor also built a React component library powering a Gatsby site, including GraphQl queries, data transformation functions, type-checking and unit tests. Victor led the home page build and navigation build, working alongside two developers at a fast pace to deliver on time for their private beta release. In 2022, they began working as a Frontend Engineer at Elder.

Victor Masson completed a Bootcamp at Founders and Coders in 2019. From 2008 to 2012, they earned a Diplôme Sciences Po from Sciences Po Aix. Victor then went on to receive an MA in Music Business Management from the University of Westminster in 2012-2013. In 2010-2011, they earned a BA in Cultural Studies from Loyola University Chicago.
