Alex H.

Alex H. has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and cybersecurity. Alex started their career as a Member of Technical Staff at Oracle in 2013, where they were responsible for developing automated tests and conducting various types of testing. After that, they worked as a Software Engineer at SQR Systems, where they participated in the development and testing of an Android application for encrypted communication. Alex then moved on to Ceranext Ltd., a telecommunications company, where they worked as a Software Engineer and focused on security and encryption. In 2017, Alex joined DarkMatter LLC as a Cryptography Engineer, where they were involved in the research, design, and implementation of cryptographic products. Alex joined Electi Consulting in 2017 as the Head of Research and Development. In 2018, Alex founded their own company, Clidion, and served as the Founder and Managing Director. Their most recent role was as a Senior Cryptography Engineer at the Technology Innovation Institute, where they focused on cryptography research and development.

Alex H. began their education journey at Brunel University London in 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Engineering. They attended Brunel University London for three years, completing their degree in 2012.

In 2012, Alex H. moved on to UCL to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Information Security. They were enrolled at UCL for one year and completed their master's degree in 2013.

After a break in their formal education, Alex H. dedicated themselves to further academic pursuits at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. From 2018 to 2022, they embarked on a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Post-Quantum Cryptography. As of now, the degree remains incomplete.

In addition to their degrees, Alex H. has obtained various certifications to further enhance their knowledge and skills. In 2014, they completed the Oracle Database 12c: Administration Workshop certification from Oracle. The following year, in 2015, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Data Science from General Assembly. Lastly, in 2016, Alex H. became a certified Cellebrite Certified Mobile Examiner through Cellebrite.
