John Najafi

John Najafi is the Co-Founder and CEO of Elective, a VC-backed FinTech startup that supports creators in the education sector by providing essential software and financial services. With prior experience as an Associate at OMERS Ventures and Rhino Ventures, Najafi has been involved in investing in technology companies and supporting early-stage ventures in Western Canada. Additional experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Creative Destruction Lab - West and various positions at mimik technology inc., where innovative cloud solutions were developed. Najafi holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from The University of British Columbia and an Ontario Secondary School Diploma from Bayview Glen.
